What is Truth?
“Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. In fact, the reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me.”38 “What is truth?” retorted Pilate.” (John 18:37,38)
“An obvious or accepted fact:….” Our world, that we accept as truth, form our; personality, beliefs, morality, life view are made up of connected and overlapping circles of our experiences. It becomes more complicated in the modern technological cultures, which isn’t true in many parts of the world, yet are similar.

Our truth begins with our circle of family, community, and friends. We build from their beliefs, truths, morality, and religion. We come away with our own perspective, but it at least begins as a commonality here.

All the overlapping influences make up who we are, and what we believe somewhere in there. This is our truth. We may die or defend this mixture of influences. To us, it is as absolute as it is to the staunchest fundamentalist.

However, what we need is a true willingness to accept tolerance. Accept and respect others core beliefs. Not agree, or even completely understand. But tolerate without prejudice that this is the way of things. This is the TRUTH for them as much as out TRUTH is for us. Absolute Truth? Let go of that concept for the sake of peace.
This is who we are, who our neighbors are, and peoples different than us. It’s the beginning of world peace. Tolerance of the differences among us can lead to a happier and more peaceful planet. Acceptance of variances in Race, Gender, Religion, Age and the many wonderful diversities that have been created, evolved, or just by wonderful happenstance.
Strive to tolerate, understand differences are the norm, show respect, consideration, and compassion for all beings. The Human Race.
